The long-awaited new Terminal B at the Sacramento International Airport is just about complete, and it’s spectacular!
If you haven’t yet made plans to travel anytime soon, don’t fret. The airport has kindly invited the public (including children, yay!) to a sneak peek of Central Terminal B just a few days before it officially opens for business on October 6th, 2011. Community Day will be held on Sunday, October 2nd from 10am to 4pm. Although the tours are free, you must make advanced reservations. Click here to reserve your spot for one of three tours.
During this sneak peek you’ll be among the first to witness the stunning, state of the art terminal including a preview of the public art collection featured throughout. You will also be the first to enjoy the new shopping and dining services at the airport including some locally owned businesses.
As always, we suggest you gather up the kids and head on out to the airport for a fabulous day of airport “sightseeing” without all the headaches of actually having a plane to catch. This trip should be a lot easier on your pocketbook too!
