As you already know- the holiday season is officially upon us! And if you are searching for a family fun “festive” activity this weekend- then head over to the 24th Street Theater for their Storybook Production of “The Magic Toy Shop”.
Watch as four creative toy makers build the TM2000 toy machine and help their boss (Mr. Santa Claus) to distribute toys to children all over the world. Although they must outsmart and escape the “bad guys” who want to destroy Christmas!
As with all the Runaway Productions, these shows are geared for young children and allow for plenty of audience participation. Kids of all ages will be entertained and will enjoy this festive show.
General admission is $8 and kids 12 and under are only $6.
Show times are November 19, 26 and December 3rd at 12pm and 2pm.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to expose your children to the theater arts, this is a great place to start. They will have a great time and you will make wonderful holiday memories that you will both will cherish.
Also showing at the 24th Street Theatre on the Broadway Stage is “White Christmas”. This classic holiday tale is based off of Bing Crosby’s 1954 film and is a family favorite of many.
Show times for this classic are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm; November 11th-December 4th. Visit their website for ticket information to this show.
