The Oakland A’s vs. The Sacramento River Cats At Raley Field

Baseball season is just around the corner and if your family enjoys watching the Sacramento River Cats play ball, then you’ll love watching them play the Oakland A’s at Raley Field on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. 

This great “kick-off” to the River Cats season which officially begins the following week on April 5th, is the fifth time Raley Field has hosted the World Series Champions, and the first time in five years.   All previous games sold out, so be sure to purchase your tickets soon.  Click here for more information on the game.

The River Cats season runs all the way through August and each game is a fantastic family activity.  If you attend games often, you’ll want your kids to be part of Dinger’s Kids Club.  Here’s what you get for the $25 Kids Club fee:

9 Sunday game vouchers, 20 Kids Corner tickets, a Kids Club hat, a Pre-season party, a Player Meet & Greet.

As always, Raley Field and the River Cats host daily game specials:

Sunday – Kids Day – Pre-game autograph session and post-game run the bases. 

Monday – Seniors Eat Free – Perfect night to bring the  grandkids.                               

 Tuesday – Kids Eat Free – with a membership in the Dinger’s Kids Club.

Wednesday – Business Person’s Special     

Thursday – Thirsty Thursday                                                                                                     

Friday – Family Value Night – $1 hot dogs, $1 desserts                                        

Saturday – Postgame Fireworks – fun, fun!

And don’t forget, each home game has a theme.  Like, Art Day, Olympic Night, Firefighter Day and Star Wars Night.  Check the schedule for more theme nights.
