Last year at this time we were extremely excited about the opening of the new (and long anticipated) Sacramento Children’s Museum. Although somewhat small, the museum did not disappoint. Sacramento area children love all that the museum has to offer.
Some of the fun includes experimentation in “Water Ways”
and “Airways,” dressing up in “My Neighborhood,” getting creative in “My Studio,” discovering gravity, friction and motion in “Raceways,” weekly story time and sing-alongs, and exploration in “Baby Bloomers,” a play area for children 3 and under. Oh, and who can forget the amazing giant Lite Brite? Ah…so much fun!
Well, it’s been a whole year since opening and we congratulate the SCM on a successful first year! In celebration, the nice folks over at the museum have given us (2) family passes to give away to a couple of our lucky readers.
