As promised, we have been visiting local spray grounds here in the Sacramento area all summer long. Last week I wanted a change of pace, so we headed to the Roseville Galleria for some “back to school” shopping and decided to keep cool across the street at the Fountains Spray ground.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit and shop at the Fountains in Roseville, then you are in for a treat. This outside, upscale mall features plenty of boutiques that caters from newborns to adults and everything in between. Some of the shops include: Anthroplogie, Vera Bradley, Lucy, Crazy 8, White House/Black Market, West Elm to name a few.
But what attracted my family on this particular shopping excursion was the mini playground and spray area. The spray ground is a small area that sprouts water out of the ground and the kids can jump, run and hop through the water fun while mom sits back and enjoys a late afternoon java boost from the back to school shopping frenzy…that’s what I’m talking about!
They also have a small scale train that runs through the mall for the kids to enjoy at a small fee. So between the splashing, climbing, sliding, playing and even a train ride- your back to school shopping can be a bit more fun and relaxing than just hitting the mall.
