Are you looking for a way to keep your kids entertained on the weekends…without turning on the tube? There are many options (some are even FREE) to keep your kids engaged, creating and using their imaginations on those “boring” Saturday mornings. Lakeshore Learning Center in Roseville has FREE crafts for kids every Saturday. From 11am-3pm, you can drop into the store and have your child create one of their “crafts of the day”. Every week is something new… this weekend (January 25) they can make a Chinese New Year Dragon Puppet!

Here is a list of some of their upcoming events:

February 1: Love to Read Bookmark
February 8:  Heart Shaped Card Holder
February 15:  My Collage Picture Frame
February 22: Jester Hat
March 1:  Wheels and Wings Note Clip
March 8: Beautiful Butterfly
March 15:   Springtime Kite Craft
March 22: Colors of the Rainbow Mirror
March 29:  Funny Fish Puppet

These activities are great for children aged 3 and older. Reservations are not required so pop in on any “boring” Saturday. Check out their website to see upcoming events (including a Valentine’ Day celebration on February 8 and Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday on March 1st) and even grab yourself a coupon…. you can always find something fun and educational for the kids at this store! Have fun and happy creating!
