Celebrate the first day of summer with a “Frozen” party at Barnes and Noble this weekend

June 17, 2014

Frozen_Olaf_EW_A.JPG“Do you want to build a snowman?  Do you want to go outside and play?”….  I know, I know… we are all tired of hearing the famous lyrics over and over from the Disney hit move “Frozen”.  But, if you have children of any age- you know, that this was a blockbuster hit and probably have caught your kids, spouse or even yourself humming along to the tunes of “Let it Go” and “Happy Snowman”.  I know I have had my share of Frozen in our household- but, that won’t stop me from letting my kids enjoy a “Frozen Party” this Saturday, June 21st at Barnes and Noble in Natomas.

Starting at 11:00am, you can “beat the heat” and celebrate the official first day of summer at Barnes and Noble in their children’s department with a “Frozen” party.  Author Barbara Jean Hicks, of “Frozen: A sister more like Me” and “Frozen: an Amazing Snowman”, will be available for autographs and will join in the fun.

There will be craft activities, special treats and fun surprises to keep the kids entertained. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their best princess costumes and this will be an event for kids of all ages to enjoy.

If you can’t make it to the party on Saturday at 11:00am in Natomas, you can join in the fun on Friday, June 20th at 3:00 pm at the Barnes and Noble at the Arden Fair Mall.

Barnes and Noble also hosts Story time each week for preschool aged children, and events for older children every month.  Check their website for special events in your area.
