June 17, 2014

KOF Orang (2)If you are reading this post, you more than likely have kids at home…which means you are probably overdue for a night out.  Alone.  Without kiddos.  Am I right?  Well, you are in luck.  Our friends over at the Sacramento Zoo have graciously supplied us with two tickets to this weekend’s King of Feasts event, an adults-only food and wine luau, to give away to one of our lucky readers.  Here’s a little bit about the event:

King of Feasts features a wide selection of local beers, wines, premium spirits and mouth-watering specialties offered by 38 of the Sacramento region’s finest restaurants, wineries and breweries.  The evening will include ukulele players, Polynesian dancers, D.J. dancing and three silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind items.  Proceeds benefit zoo improvements, education programs and wildlife conservation.”

KOF Hula (2)

The zoo closes down to the public for this event, so not only will you get to enjoy wonderful food, drink and entertainment, you’ll also have a chance to check out exotic animals without the crowds.

It’s sure to be a KOF Logo Ad (2)fantastic night!  If you would like a chance to win two free passes to this event, take a look a the event website, then come back here and tell us in the comment section of this post, which restaurant, winery or brewery you are most excited about trying.  One lucky reader will be randomly selected on Thursday, June 19th, 2014 to win the tickets.  Winners must be 21 years of age or older.

I’d like to try The Melting Pot because their prices are always a little too high to get me in there, so a sample would give me an idea of whether or not I’d enjoy it.

It’s been 4 long years since my cruise ship stint working aboard the Pride of America in Hawaii. My soul still craves the sound of crashing waves and smell of sweet pineapple in the air. Winning these tickets would let me go back to Hawaii for a night! Not to mention getting to eat Vallejo’s (hands down best Mexican food) and drink Nor Cal’s most scrumptious cider – Two Rivers!!
