If you are looking for a fun holiday activity this weekend…(one that will put you in the spirit, and maybe get some of those unique gifts purchased and checked off your list), then take a trip up to Auburn for their 28th Annual Old Town Country Christmas. If you haven’t been to Auburn in a while, then this is the time to do it. About an hour outside of Sacramento, you will be in the heart of Gold Country and in Old Town Auburn. With “mom and pop” shops, restaurants and antique shops, you are sure to find the perfect gift for someone on your list.
This annual festival will run on Saturday, December 13 and again on Saturday 20th. From 5-9pm the streets of Old Town will be lined with crafters and artists selling their hand-made products. Food, entertainment and even a visit from Jolly Old St. Nick will be available for pictures.
This is a rain or shine event, so bring your umbrellas in case it’s wet!
There will also be a free shuttle from the Gold Country Fairgrounds (Auburn Folsom Road) that will be running from 5pm-9pm.
This will be an event that will get you into the holiday spirit with the feeling of Old Town nostalgia. So grab some hot cocoa and make your ways through the streets of Old Town Auburn this weekend!
