The World’s Largest Egg Hunt will be at the California State Capitol on April 4!
Sacramento is going to break the record this year- the Guinness World Record of Easter Egg Hunts that is! Blue Heart International is hosting a giant Easter egg hunt at the California State Capitol on Saturday, April 4th. With over a half million eggs being hidden around the Capitol grounds, you can be sure that the Easter Bunny will be on site to make sure your children are loaded up with prizes and fun!
The Easter Bunny will be available for photo opportunities, along with bounce houses, face painting, petting zoos and of course the largest Easter egg hunt around!
This event is FREE, but you can purchase a VIP egg hunt with special prizes and different VIP eggs. An additional fee will be charged for the bounce houses and face painting, but proceeds from this event will go towards Blue Heart International, a non-profit organization that helps provide for survivors of human trafficking. The free egg hunt start times are as follows: Ages 0-3: 9:30am at the steps of the Capitol Ages 4-6: 10:00am at the steps of the Capitol VIP Egg Hunt: 10:30am Ages 7-9: 11:00am on Capitol Mall Parkway Ages 10 and up: 11:30am on Capitol Mall Parkway
Things to consider when visiting this event: Bring your own basket to gather the eggs. Bring cash for the “extra” fun. Arrive early to find parking. Parking can be found in the garages across the street from the Capitol at City Hall Garage (10th & I or 11th & I) Capitol Garage (10th & L)
Tower Bridge Garage (Front & Capitol Mall).
