Take your family to the Sacramento Zoo on February 12 for their annual “I Heart the Sacramento Zoo” event. This event features valentine-themed activities, informative talks and zoo fun. Activities are included in the price of admission.

Kids will create a Valentines masterpiece with the help of artist Liz Harrington while she teaches them how to paint. Adults can join in on the fun, or they can observe and enjoy pizza and drinks. Lace up your running shoes and join in the 14th annual “Race for Justice- Valentine Run”. Choose either a 1.8 mile untimed course or a 4 mile timed course that takes your through the beautiful Arden Park neighborhood. This Valentine run/walk is kid and dog friendly – perfect for the whole family! Participants are encouraged to wear hearts on their outfits to show their love and compete in a best dressed awards show.
