Sacramento will once again host one of the largest air shows on the West Coast. The California Capital Airshow lands at Mather Field on Saturday, Sept. 9 and continues to entertain fans on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017. Dubbed a “massive family friendly festival,” attendees of all ages will witness aviation and aircraft ingenuity from the past century. Aircraft on display and in the air include the Patriots Jet Team, U.S. Navy F-18 tactical demonstration, U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight starring the A-10 Thunderbolt II, world-class aerobatics, barnstorming, warbirds and more. In addition, on the ground will be the Aerojet Rocketdyne Launchpad – an interactive STEM experience geared towards teens, Kiddie Hawk – a free interactive kids area, and plenty of food and drink.
